Beginning of February, Composite Approach welcomed our new team member, “Bob”! With a Z-axis of 11” and weighing in at 24,000 lbs, Bob is our new HAAS GR 712, who brought some unique talents to our growing enterprise. With a 7’ x 12’ envelope and a gantry that moves across the long axis of the envelope, Bob has increased our capacity for machining larger parts. Not only is Bob bigger than our other CNC machines, Bob is also faster and more efficient overall! Bob has the power to use multiple tools in one run! Bob has a tool changer that can switch from one tool to another without any sweat! The fine and precise edging from Bob provides excellent quality for the parts we produce.
