Time for Change: Spring 2016

On Friday, June 3rd, we were delighted to have our first Time for Change service opportunity! Amanda, a friend of Guy and Kenny, and a mother of four, had moved quickly out of her home due to flooding earlier in the Spring, and needed help moving her belongings out of her storage unit and back into her home. Guy, Devan, Mike, Sam, and Brian offered to help with the task. With many hands, four trucks, a van, and a flatbed trailer, we got her belongings all packed up and transported in three hours. We were glad to be informed of this puzzling predicament and to be part of Amanda’s solution. We’re looking forward to continuing this new service initiative, encouraging our team to look for needs in our community and finding ways to serve others with our time and skills.
